Prince George: RCMP in Prince George on Tuesday said a large explosion at an abandoned building has sent three people to hospital.
The Mounties said Northern Health has said only one of them had serious injuries.
According to the Mounties, the blast happened around 7am, but the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The police had closed down several roads in the area after the explosion. Officials had to shut off hydro in the area.
In a statement, Prince George RCMP have requested for video footage after the explosion.
The police said they are aware of several videos on social media from people who passed by the scene moments after the explosion and investigation would like to see the original footage.
Prince George RCMP requested those people to contact the non-emergency line to speak with investigators.
