New Delhi: Ahead of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ reaching Rajasthan, a three-member committee of three state ministers today met a delegation of the Gujjar community.

Notably, the Gujjar community has put forth their demands related to reservation and other issues before the government. The ministers assured them that the government will look into the demands. He has also invited the community leaders to attend another meeting tomorrow.

The Gujjar community, one of the most backward sections, has been demanding a solution to the problems being faced in the implementation of the five per cent reservation in jobs, educational institutions, scholarships and promotions in jobs. They have threatened to block the yatra.
