Chandigarh: A meeting of the 16-member sub-committee constituted by Sri Akal Takht Sahib to frame instructions for taking Guru Granth Sahib at protest sites held at the Jathedar of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib Baldev Singh Mahilpuri Hall.
Meanwhile, heads of various organisations and Nihang Singh sects involved in the sub-committee have submitted a report and sent it to the Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib.
SGPC president Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, while talking to the media, said that the sealed report prepared unanimously in the meeting has been sent to Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh.
After this, the Panj Singh Sahiban from Akal Takht Sahib will issue orders for carrying the holy form of Guru Granth Sahib to the disputed places of dharnas, demonstrations and occupation.

SGPC president Dhami, SGPC members Rajinder Singh Mehta, Baba Nihal Singh Harian Velanwale, Baba Balbir Singh Mukhiya Panth Akali Budha Dal, Baba Major Singh Tarna Dal, Sikh scholar Dr. Harjinder Singh Andothers were also present at today’s gathering. Inderjit Singh Gogoani, Talwinder Singh Buttar, Dr. Bhai Ajaib Singh Abhyasi, Bhai Amarjit Singh Chawla, among others were present on the occasion.
