Langley RCMP emergency response team responded to the area of 200th street and 49th ave after receiving reports of a man firing into air in Langley City Park.
Man ran into the trails after firing, officers discovered shell casings in the park.
After searching for hours in the area, mounties located and arrested the man under the Mental Health Act. The Canine unit is searching the park for the weapon.
