Chandigarh: The last prayers of NRI Pardeep Singh, who was murdered at Sri Anandpur Sahib, will be held on Wednesday, March 15, at village Ghazikot in Gurdaspur district.
At 9 am, bhog of Shri Akhand Path Sahib will be commenced and then there will be kirtan, followed by the ardaas and tribute ceremony.
Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president and representatives of Budha Dal Nihang Singh organisations and other religious organisations will participate on the occasion.
Meanwhile, a new video of the murder of Pardeep Singh, during the Hola Mohalla at Sri Anandpur Sahib had surfaced yesterday, in which he was also seen attacking the crowd with a kirpan. Both sides indulged in a violent clash.
After some time Pardeep got injured. This was stated to be a video before his murder as crowd attacked him with sharp-edged weapons.
Meanwhile, Gurwinder Kaur, wife of Satbir Singh, who is undergoing treatment at PGI, said she regretted Pardeep Singh’s death, but it was Pardeep who had earlier attacked her husband with kirpans.
