New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched the 5G service in India. After the launch of 5G by PM Modi, 5G service has started in 13 cities of the country from today.

By the year 2023, there is a plan to extend this service to the whole country. PM Modi launched this service from the stage of India Mobile Congress 2022 program held in Delhi.

Capable of supporting ultra-high-speed internet, the fifth generation or 5G service is expected to bring new economic opportunities and social benefits to Indian society as a transformative force.

Mukesh Ambani said 5G is much more than the next generation of connectivity technology and said that the Jio 5G will reach in every town of India by December 2023.

The 5G Internet service will get ten times more speed than 4G, which will take very little time for people to access the Internet and download movies, games, apps and other languages. With the increase in internet speed in mobile, many works based on the internet will become easier.

Before launching the 5G service, PM Modi inaugurated the sixth edition of the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) at Pragati Maidan in Delhi. Here, Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani informed PM Modi about 5G services.
