California: Four members of a Punjabi family have been abducted from from the South Merced Area of Merced County in the US today.
These included an eight-month-old girl and her parents.
The Merced County Sheriff’s Office said that Jasdeep Singh, 36, Jasleen Kaur, 27, their eight-month-old daughter Aruhi and their relative 39-year-old Amandeep Singh were among those abducted. Police have not released further details, describing the suspect as armed and dangerous but asked the public for information in locating four missing persons.
In a statement, The Merced County Sheriff’s Office said that investigators are currently in the early stages of their investigation and are asking anyone with information to call the Merced County Sheriff’s Office (209)385-7445.
“We believe the suspect is armed and considered dangerous and were asking the public does not approach the suspect or victims and calls 9-1-1. Information can also be submitted via email at MercedSheriffsOffice@Countyofmerced.com,” The Merced County Sheriff’s Office said.
