Washington: American rapper Rapper PnB Rock was shot in a restaurant while eating with his girlfriend. The rapper died of bullet injuries on the spot, police said.
Rapper PNB Rock, who lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, was praised for his song ‘Selfish’ in 2016.
The Singer was fatally shot during a robbery at the Roscose Chicken and Waffles restaurant in South Los Angeles on Monday afternoon.
Los Angeles police officer Kelly Muniz said the shooting took place at 1:15 p.m. at the famous eatery on Main Street and Manchester Avenue. Kelly Muniz said police would not reveal the identity of the victim.
This is how the robber committed the crime
Rapper PNB Rock,30, had his real name, Rakim Allen. He came to the restaurant with his girlfriend. A picture was posted on his Instagram with the place tagging which was later deleted. The robbers pointed a gun at the victim and threatened to give them whatever they had, the police officer said. Sources said the robbers were eyeing Rock’s jewellery.
Muniz said the robber shot the victim and came out, then fled through the parking lot.
Law enforcement sources said cctv cameras installed inside the restaurant were being examined to identify the suspect, as well as cameras from nearby shops.
Police is also investigating whether the suspect came on foot or in a vehicle.
Rock was born on December 9, 1991 in Philadelphia. He told a magazine that at the age of 19, he was inspired to work for music after listening to Drake’s ‘Take Care’ album.
