New Delhi: An Air India plane suddenly suffered several strong tremors in the air and several passengers suffered injured.
The incident took place on Tuesday when an Air India flight took off from Delhi for Sydney and suffered mid-air tremors, an official said.
No one was seriously injured in the incident, the sources said. However, the passengers were given medical assistance upon arrival at Sydney airport.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said no passenger has been hospitalised.
“Seven passengers reported minor sprains. The cabin crew used the first aid kit with the assistance of a doctor and a nurse travelling in the aircraft.”
The manager of Air India’s airport in Sydney also arranged for medical assistance on arrival of the passengers, the official said.
