Chandigarh: After the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, there was mourning in the family and fans but the killers continued to celebrate. Afraid of the police, the murderer reached Mundra Port in Gujarat and there they celebrated killing of Punjabi singer at the sea and clicked their photos at a beach which has now surfaced, senior police officials said.
Killers of Moosewala including Ankit, Deepak Mundi, Sachin Bhiwani, Priyavart Fauji, Kapil Pandit and Kashish alias Kuldeep in the viral photos. Of these, Deepak Mundi is still absconding. Earlier also these killers had celebrated on Punjabi song in the car after murdering Moosewala. The video was found from the mobile of shooter Ankit Sirsa, police said.
Police of 5 states on lookout, gangsters enjoying in Gujarat
After the murder of Moosewala, the police of 5 states were behind the murderers. Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Delhi Police were raiding to nab them. Despite this, these 5 were celebrating at Mundra Port in Gujarat. Apart from them, two shooters, who were killed in the recent encounter, were also hiding in Punjab.
Moosewala’s murder a result of gang war
The Punjab Police, in its chargesheet, has described the murder of Moosewala as the result of a gang war between Lawrence and the Bambiha gang. Police said that first the Bambiha gang killed Gurlal Brar in Chandigarh on 11 October 2020.
After this Lawrence gang fired on Bambiha group member Rajat Kumar in November 2020 in which Manpreet Bhau of Lawrence gang and other accused were caught. To avenge the murder of Gurlal Brar, Lawrence Group killed Youth Congress leader Gurlal Pehalwan in Faridkot in February 2021.
Later, Jaggu Bhagwanpuria and Lawrence’s shooters had killed Rana Kandowalia on the Amritsar-Majitha road on 4 August 2021. To avenge this, the Bambiha gang killed Vicky Middukheda on 7 August 2021 and Kabaddi player Sandeep Nangal Ambiya on 14 March.
The gang claimed that to avenge the Middukheda’s murder, the Lawrence gang killed Sidhu on 29 May 2022.
Punjab Police groping in dark to trace Deepak Mundi
Punjab police is groping in dark to trace the absconding shooter Deepak Mundi. Police has recently filed chargesheet against 24 murderers in Mansa court. In which 166 witnesses have been made. However, concrete information has not been given by the police about Deepak Mundi in it. Neither the name of his father is known nor the address of his house is with the police.
AAP government surrounded by security lapse from chargesheet
Following murder of Moosewala, the AAP government of Punjab has been surrounded by opposition for purning his security a day before his murder. The list of pruning security of Moosewala widely viral on social media by AAP and media and gangster Goldy Brar reportedly instructed all the shooters to reach Mansa to immediately eliminate Moosewala.
In a viral audio, Brar was saying to a shooter that this work has to be done tomorrow i.e. on May 29. Moosewala’s security has been reduced. Singer Sidhu was killed on 29 May.
