Ontario: Two people were hospitalised after being shot in North York on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
According to the information, the incident occurred just before 4:00 p.m. in the parking lot of 9 Shoreham Court near Jane Street, south of Steels Avenue.
It is also learnt that the shooter was driving a black SUV and fled from the spot after committing the crime.
According to paramedics, both the injured persons were rushed to a hospital, where their condition is said to be stable.
Police said that when the investigating officers arrived, they found two men victims suffering from gunshot wounds and they were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are looking for suspects and asking people for information linked to the case.
Meanwhile, police advised people of significant police presence in the area.
