Vancouver: Lawn watering restrictions in Metro Vancouver are returning May 1st as the region prepares for another dry season.
Residents and businesses will be limited to watering lawns to once a week.
Metro Vancouver regional district officials say reservoirs are on target to be full by mid-May, with snowpack in the area at about 56 per cent of the historical average.
The region had to ban all lawn watering last summer due to overuse of drinking water for outdoor purposes, and officials say an outright ban may again be necessary this year.
