Rajkot: Ahead of Gujarat assembly elections, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal during his two-day trip to the state, urged to the BJP workers to work to not quit the saffron party rather work for his party ‘from inside’.

Kejriwal reached Rajkot in Gujarat on Saturday and held a press conference here.

He said, “We are getting immense love and respect from Gujarat, for this I want to express my gratitude to the people of Gujarat and assure you that if we get a chance, we will live up to your expectations.”

Launching a fierce attack on ruling BJP, he said that they are attacking AAP workers in front of idols of gods. This is not the culture of Gujarat, the country and Hinduism. Their hooliganism is increasing. This attack shows that BJP is very restless.

He said that “BJP sees its defeat in the forthcoming elections. We are not Congress. So change your ways. Workers of Aam Aadmi Party are not afraid. We are the followers of Sardar Patel,” he said.

He said that ever since AAP leader Manoj Sorathia was attacked. AAP conducted a survey in which 7 out of 12 seats are coming to AAP in Surat.

Kejriwal said, “Within 3 months of the formation of the government, we will fulfill all your demands. When we raise the issue of policemen, grade pay, all will be fulfilled. The government has issued a notification to increase the allowances that no one will protest. I want to tell all the policemen that do not sign on these terms. We will solve you when the government is formed in December.”

He also urged the people that time is short, so people should campaign at their own level. Promote AAP on social media to ensure the party’s victory as in past three decades, successive governments had done nothing to uplift the standard of common man.
