New Delhi: A controversy has erupted over a statement made by Rahul Gandhi during the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

He had advised the BJP and RSS to chant ‘Jai Siya Ram’ and made a difference between ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and ‘Jai Siya Ram’. Now the BJP has reacted to his statement.

Shahnawaz Hussain said that BJP does not need Rahul Gandhi’s certificate. He becomes a hindu during elections. Brajesh Pathak said that Rahul Gandhi is the leader of the drama troupe. They wear janeu over the coat. They don’t know anything about India’s culture. They are just running from street to street, because the people have rejected them.

Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra was in Agar-Malwa in Madhya Pradesh on Friday. During this time, while addressing a gathering in Agar, he interpreted the slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’, ‘Jai SiyaRam’ and ‘Hey Ram’ in his own style.

He said, What does ‘Jai Siya Ram’ mean? Jai Sita and Jai Ram, meaning Sita and Ram are the same. That is why the slogan is Jai Siyaram or Jai Sitaram. Lord Rama fought for sita ji’s honour. We say ‘Jaisiya Ram’ and respect women like Sita in the society.

He said that Lord Ram worked to connect the society. Lord Ram gave respect to everyone. RSS and BJP people don’t adopt Lord Ram’s way of life. They can’t chant Siyaram and Sitaram because there is not a single woman in their organization, so it is not jai Siya Ram’s organization, Sita cannot come in their organization.
